The warmth of the beginning of summer
Touched my skin as I relax,
Through the groups of young teens eating
And last minute studying for finals,
I saw her for the first time.
The first time I noticed her dazzling eyes sparkle with the sun,
The first time I glanced at that perfect smile shining like diamond,
The first time I wanted to pour my feelings out like a waterfall.
My words make a stall,
Frozen on what to say without showing my stupidity,
but instead humor her through creativity.
I want to tell her my childhood memories
So she could humiliate me as the days go on.
She came closer to me,
My heart pounds like a drum,
Intimidated,
Nervous,
Shaken,
My palms started to sweat.
The first time she walked towards me,
I knew she was the one.
